Rounds Practice provides daily clinical practice questions. You can answer questions without creating an account. This page explains what stays in your browser and what is saved when you sign in.

Practicing without an account

Your assigned questions, submitted answers, and practice history are saved in your browser when browser storage is available. They are not uploaded to an account until you sign in and choose to save them. If browser saving is unavailable, the website tells you that your progress lasts only in the open tab.

Clearing browser data can remove guest progress. Anyone using the same browser may be able to see its guest answers. Guest practice is separate from signed-in account data.

Account information and saved progress

Supabase manages account authentication and stores your account email, question assignments, answers, practice history, and preferences. Your optional profile can include a display name, specialty, cropped photo, and selected city. These account records are restricted to your signed-in account. Your profile, photo, and city are not published to other members.

If you use email and password, Supabase manages password authentication. If you choose Google sign-in, Google supplies basic identity information such as your email address, name, and profile image to the authentication service. Your Google password is not shared with Rounds Practice. Google sign-in does not request access to your Gmail messages, files, or contacts.

Your browser keeps a sign-in session so you can return to your account. Guest answers are added only after you confirm the destination account. Existing account answers are preserved when the two copies differ.

Services that operate the website

• Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website.
• Supabase provides account authentication and private data storage.
• Resend delivers account confirmation and password-reset emails.
• Google handles authentication when you choose Google sign-in.

These services may process connection information and operational logs to provide and secure the website. Links to clinical references open other websites with their own privacy policies.

Optional location and profile

You can choose a city for your private profile. If you request a nearby-city suggestion, your browser asks for location permission. Exact coordinates are not saved or sent to the account database. Only the city you choose and save is retained.

Your choices

You can practice as a guest, leave profile fields empty, decline location access, or sign out. Profile settings allow you to reset saved practice, profile details, photo, and preferences. Resetting these records keeps the sign-in account. Account deletion is not currently available inside the website.

Signing out removes account information from the displayed page while keeping its saved history in your account. Standard service logs and backups may retain information after a reset. Do not enter patient information into Rounds Practice.
